I always knew that envy and pleasure is related. How?
Maybe because when you're too addicted to searching pleasures, you're inevitably meet someone who's definitely gets more pleasures from life than you.
You'll think why should it ever concern you, but nope it directly touches your heart just because:
1. You could do something about it in past. Brain doesn't care whether it matters for future or not, that give it cause to regret and envy about what the others got
2. You can do something about it now. Who cares that you got important chores of your own to do? If you aren't doing enough efforts to bring yourself a pleasure, then reasons to condemn yourself are multiplied.
3. Why the others haven't done anything about your pleasure?
4. Why haven't you made them do something about it, e.g. why aren't you letting the others work more than you?
