[rhg] The Balance Myth: Rethinking Work-Life Success

Have you ever wondered - whether life where you try to catch up with 3 different goals immediately (work, family and something else?) is for you, and whether you can succeed in all of these goals?
This book will help you prioritize things without sacrificing both job & family.
The author set out to demonstrate that balance is a myth. She accomplished it by opening her life story to all so that we could see she had plenty of her own troubles.
This book also has some great tactics. I've started using one calendar for work and family obligations as Teresa suggested. It's a subtle thing, but has had a huge and positive impact on my life. The "work" and low level stress of constantly balancing two or three calendars is gone. I no longer quietly resent colleagues for scheduling meetings over a family obligation (that they had no idea even existed!).
Teresa explained her journey in a large us company. One important thing I took away is that focusing on the most important thing at one time, work or home.

Read the preview and probably purchase the book on Amazon
