Small business: every employee should feed itself

I've found out that sometimes I even not consider putting an employee's wages in dependance to what is his performance. And the problem is not only performance. By thinking about business in terms of something where you pay people salary, I probably never think about creating a system where I shouldn't pay them anything. Where salaries paid exceptionally from the money given by customer.

This are more responsible approach. And I suppose I should employ it. I realize that next time I'll come up to such decision faster, since its profitable - I don't care what Jim Rohn says in this case (Impatience + Greed = Trouble)
