Linux from a management standpoint. Why you should hate Linux.

Many folk who deal with services on a daily basis are brainwashed with those stories like "Haha - look at this guy, he's keeping all of his servers on Windows", or "Sorry sir but we won't setup a server for you on this shit" (when I'm trying to get help from a freelancers for setting up VoIP service on my Windows Server).
I'm totally love Linux, and I'm even can call myself a Linux fanboy, and yes Linux systems are great for big companies, where even a little lack of stability breaks the productivity and couldn't be afforded.
But from the standpoint of someone who just need a working solution, when somebody says "Don't even look at Windows when you try to setup a Web-Server / FTP / VoIP / or something else", its like trying to close your eyes, close the door for the opportunity: it tries to take you away from the truth that sometimes you don't need such a great quality or response from your server.
I have a story - during 10 years I've had my own ISP service with over 200 customers in the area which used my server as the way to connect to the Internet, and the paid me money for that. Yes Internet connection was creepy, and server was unstable, but money was REAL, and I got a lots of money from such unhappy customers (whcih probably wasn't that unhappy as I exaggerate)
And those business with ISP I've had failed only because of one reason: lack of marketing. Why did I failed at marketing? Because of Linux users who brainedwashed me that I have to spend much of my time trying to provide users with greater quality, while the only thing my Local Area Network required me to do - is to connect much more users! That's stupid, isn't it? So the moral for the service/IT manager's standpoint is: USE Linux, only if you've got a LOTS of MONEY, and LOTS of CUSTOMERS, or if you have a BIG COMPANY. Linux is a complete solution, but not for the start ups, and is not definitely cheapest way. Its just the best way which requires too much efforts
P.S. I found Axon Virtual PBX Windows solution for my VoIP service which I wanted to have at my another start up company, and I'm so happy with it now, since I had a whole weeks of procrastination just because I had no ways of making calls through exclusive internal VoIP service which my agents needed so much.

Tips&Tricks: Best way to avoid mistake when you purchase your first car

  • Earl Fox

Throughout all the time I analysed the purchasing decisions around cars: 1) I loved and wanted little car such as Daewoo Matiz (which has only 0.8 liters engine), 2) Ural (Rimma's Husband) purchased Daewoo Matiz (as you remember, that was a credit, now what he has - a 5 years old car, 3) Many people love purchasing cheapest versions of cars and they hate used cars (because they can buy only new ones)
  • Earl Fox
    Earl Fox

so here we have picture: when you want to purchase a car, you usually looking for a best car. Everybody wants less hassle with repairs, and more joy of driving without any problems and the most comfort.
Now the Daewoo Matiz costs here around $7000 when you purchase basic version (in Russia we have very poor basic versions due to greedy auto-dealers - they remove everything they can from the cheapest versions of cars)
If you purchase Daewoo Matiz here in credit, that's extra fee: around $2000
so I believe Ural at his time paid around $9000 for his car
Rasheet purchased a new car for $15000 including all fees
I believe its a dumb decision to purchase a new car
at least for Russia, because here in Russia basic versions aren't worth their prices: both Ural & Rasheet paid huge amount of money for their car, and here's why:
  • Earl Fox
    Earl Fox

    1) Ural, because he got very small car, which is very limited if you compare it to regular cars (especially if you talk about Russian winters) + cheapest cars here in Russia are usually well... they are cheap that means they have a poor quality and more often end up at expensive repairs
  • Earl Fox
    Earl Fox

    2) Rasheet (he paid too much money for his loan as I believe), his car is better, but since he got basic version, he loses many comfort stuff
Now recently I've found out that the best deal it is purchasing a USED car, which is not older than 3-4 years, and which is fully equipped. And car should be by its class not the smallest, not the worst brand, it should be average
as example it could be Scoda Fabia as Rasheet did, but maximum version (fully equipped) or it could be Chevrolet Lacetti https://www.google.ru/search?q=chevrolet+lacetti&newwindow=1&hl=ru&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=rWRyUrrCD4G1tAaLpYEQ&ved=0CAkQ_AUoAQ&biw=1366&bih=600
    or something else
reason why I think so, because I've found out that most cars which is 2-3 years old are good enough in their condition (as new)
also its good to check how much miles that car driven
and its good to check if the car are sold by trustworthy seller (the best sellers are women, because they're careful with their cars)
And women are usually don't drive that much as man
I'll mention some deal which I saw with my own eyes: For example fully equipped Chevrolet Lacetti here in Russia costs around $17,000 while basic version costs only $14,000.
What version do you think its better to purchase: the one for $17,000 (fully equipped) or the one for $14,000 (empty one)
I think none of them deserves attention
the best way to purchase car worth of $17,000
is finding 3 years old used car of the same model which costs $17,000 as new
and such used car in a good condition will cost you only $11,000!!!
That is ridiculous money for such a wonderful choice!
$11,000 is very close to what Ural has purchased!
    (extra $2,000)
So as always there is two BOLD things which make stuff very expensive:
  • Earl Fox
    Earl Fox

    1) "I WANT ONLY NEW CAR" or "IF YOU WILL PURCHASE A USED CAR, YOU WILL REGRET" INABILITY OF PEOPLE TO MAKE A GOOD CHOICES IN A USED MARKET. THEREFORE THEY PURCHASE "ONLY NEW" - this type of people can try to persuade you to "never" deal with USED car, because they think that all used cars are creepy - but that's not true, that's just an excuse for their inability to make the right choices 2) "I WANT IT NOW". Inability of people to collect money. Mostly the people who purchase stuff in credit, they end up in paying a lots of fees for the banks for providing a credit. The cause - is absence of discipline. Yeah it takes HUGE amount of discipline when it comes to saving for a new car. HUGE AMOUNTS!!!
  • Earl Fox
    Earl Fox

this two points are both generated by the weakness of a person
    1) technical weakness 2) weakness of self-discipline
and that's where companies do A LOTS OF MONEY!
because at the age 25-30-35 people who never had a car gets HIGHLY DEPRESSED
    HIGHLY DISAPPOINTEd
that they couldn't managed to save enough money for a car
that's when they make a choice "I WANT IT NOW! AND I WANT THE BEST OPTION"
last sentence contains two mental mistakes - willing to get now, and willing the best option (the best option will never happen, because the best option is very expensive if you purchase it a new)
somebody can make a choice "ITS ENOUGH, I WANT IT NOW! BUT I DON'T NEED FANCY CAR - I ONLY NEED A MEAN OF TRANSPORTATION"
the best saying of course "CAN WAIT IF NEEDED (BUT I WILL WORK HARD WHILE WAITING), BUT I NEED THE BEST OPTION, THE OPTION WHICH I WON'T REGRET ABOUT)"
and willing the best option doesn't means purchasing the newest car, it just means being picky about choosing USED car
  • Earl Fox
    Earl Fox

In other words I want a car: 1) Which is purchased for my own money, not for the CREDIT money. Because I don't like paying extra money for bank. 2) Which would cost $17,000 me as new, but I want it for the price $11,000. Because I don't like paying extra money for NEW, because 3 years later it will be the same AS the one which I'm going to purchase in a USED condition (that kind of car will have a huge amount of miles to drive without needs for repair).
  • Earl Fox
    Earl Fox

Why I'm talking about cars so much? Because for 21st century its a HUGE deal.

Grief-inventor or the story of Thomas Midgley, Jr.

" Thanks to the" inventions of this man , our planet is contaminated with lead , and the ozone layer is melting before our eyes. As one historian, "(he) had more impact on the atmosphere than any other single organism in Earth's history" ( no body in the history of the world did not cause such harm atmosphere like this man .)

Back in the 20 's of last century, one Thomas Midgley Jr. worked in a research lab at General Motors . Then one day, ( a day that would be worth noting on the calendar in black) This former engineer and now a self-taught chemist noticed that by adding a compound called tetraethyl lead in gasoline in the engine significantly reduces vibration .
Although it was already known that lead is very dangerous to humans , because in large quantities it can cause irreversible damage to the brain and central nervous system, if not fatal , it began to actively produce and used almost anywhere. "Food goes to the Bank , sealed with lead solder . The water is often stored in tanks tinned with lead . Lead arsenate as a pesticide sprayed fruits . Lead is even served on the tubes of toothpaste. It is hardly possible to find a product that does not introduce a drop of lead in the body of the consumer. But nothing could compare in scale and duration of use with the addition of a motor fuel . "

Lead is easy to extract, process, and very profitable to produce on an industrial scale . Therefore, in 1923 there was a company " Ethyl Corporation ," the purpose of which was to produce as ethyl, how the world was ready to buy.

Very soon, the workers in the factories began to manifest mental disorders - early signs of poisoning , then the workers began to die. Then the rumors spread around the country , and Thomas Midgley decided to show that ethyl harmless to health. " Effortlessly talking about the company's commitment to safety , he poured tetraethyl lead in his arms , then a full minute lifted the beaker to the nose , while claiming that no harm can repeat this procedure every day. In fact, Midgley knew about the dangers of lead poisoning. He had a few months before was severely damaged by overexposure and except for this episode , if I could, did not come close to this stuff , " * .

Bottom line: still lead so many throughout the United States , that the level of it in the body of any modern American in 625 times more than his countryman , who lived 100 years ago!

The second of his " invention" was no less of harmful or even deadly. He decided to create a gas that would be applicable in refrigerators. It is said that while the use of the refrigerator was very dangerous , because the cooling fluid used toxic substances , and sometimes leak. And Midgley invented chlorofluorocarbons , or CFCs.
If you've ever looked out of a can of air freshener or hair , you probably saw the icon depicting a hand on the ball. That is, the manufacturer wanted to tell us that its product does not contain CFCs , and therefore safe for the atmosphere.

Half a century before scientists noticed that CFCs contribute (to say the very, very much promote ) the destruction of the ozone layer in the stratosphere. " CFC ... not very much - they make up only about one- billionth of an atmosphere , taken as a whole - but they are extremely destructive. A single kilogram of CFCs can capture and destroy 70 000 kg of atmospheric ozone. CFCs remain in the atmosphere , on average about a hundred years , all the while causing great harm . In addition, they absorb heat like a sponge . CFC molecule gives ten thousand times more potent contribution to the greenhouse effect than carbon dioxide molecule - and carbon dioxide, are known to be effectively creates a greenhouse effect. In short, the CFC may eventually , perhaps, be one of the worst inventions of the twentieth century " * .

But this is not the end of history.
In 1940, he contracted poliomyelitis and was disabled , but the spirit of invention and not left it there . He invented a device that raises and turns it into a bed. Some years the system worked correctly, but in 1944 he became entangled in the ropes and was strangled by them .

That's such an unusual end in such a sad story.

Bitcoin is not a GOLD, it is more like REAL ESTATE!

Maybe hundred years from now, technological evolution will let computers crack Bitcoin wallets & blockchains, but the will happen only like 50 or maybe even 150 years from now.
In this sense you could consider Bitcoin as a property. The strength of cryptography behind Bitcoin is a factor defining longevity of house. Houses are deteriorating during the time, but Bitcoins concept deteriorate only during human technological progress.

Once houses are destroyed, residents are usually move to other properties. The same case with Bitcoin: once cryptocurrency won't fit security measures, world will just find an alternative cryptocurrency which fits new cryptography standards.

1. Your relationship with Google

Delightful concepts of time. Inspired by Adelle

Here's what. I am and my sister spoke about this before she and the whole family moved to United States. I suppose she remembers this talk too. She told me about this idea in ~2009-2010, while I am first time got this idea in ~2004-2005.

I don't remember many details but here's few of them I remember clearly: We were hurrying somewhere.
We were terribly doing some things real quick because we wanted to perform more great activities.
And she's shared with me her idea: she told me that if we gonna hurry up to do good things every minute of our life, then probably we would get done everything we wanted to get done in our life.

That's it. That was the idea. Our another concept of time. Maybe its not new. Its certainly not new. At the time we spoke about this my age was around 19 and her age was 16. But that's our feeling of time. That is a starting point for the right understanding of time properties and our abilities.

And since I haven't dedicated the time back then to talk about this with her, I would like get chance to respond to my sister today with the ways I would continue this topic:

Timing Value in Logistics

Logistics is a word from a corporate world. But logistics is just awesome way to describe our usual lives too.
There is a logistics behind everything we do in our lives. When somebody tells you that you aren't organized enough, it could be isn't a problem of your mind or thinking capabilities, it could be because of lack of proper logistics.
Logistics as scientific topic is the way to properly allocate resources and many other life components which defines the quality of performed tasks and overall quality of live too. It is not only the way we deliver value to the world everyday. It is also the way the others help you to improve the ways you can deliver values.

Hardworking

At some point my sister was even upset, disoriented and mad at me that I'm too obsessed with that word. We were talking about the ways we can increase our speed to perform daily operations, but so many times we forget about necessity to be efficient. There is too little time allocated every day for each one of us, and not being 100% or even 101% better every second just isn't affordable, especially when you're full of energy!

Management

Managing is everything to me. Without managing there's nothing. Managing is being wise. Managing is using your head (intelligence). Managing is when you're finding the ways. Managing is when you're making things possible. Managing is when you are organizing something. Managing is making a difference.

Choose The Right

Too many of people don't pay attention to the ways they spend their time. Yeah, of course I'm not the one who's going to choose how they should feel about it, but I believe that its never enough. Life is cruel. And difficult. Let's face it. And labor maybe won't cure you completely, and faith, prayer and many other virtues aren't always look like the right thing to do right now, but the fact is that we're never doing enough. I'm not telling that we are stupid, but as humans we can't get it done perfectly anyway, since we're not machines, and we're definitely are not Jesus. But we must put every effort to become like him. And yeah, sometimes it means that we have to become almost the way strong as machines.

Why I'm telling right now that 100% isn't enough? Because that what it takes to perform things fast every minute of your life, the way I and my sister dreamed and talked about.

Reacting fast everyday would take you to the next level, but you have to be thoughtful. And fast.

And yeah, I would add: and you shouldn't make any mistakes. But its not possible. And even though its not possible, nobody says you can't try it again without mistakes. Yes, it will take more time to give any activity a try. But getting things done is very important. If you think that you must get something done, then you must do everything you can to make it happen, right?

Getting Things Done

In order to apply the rule which we had at the moment we spoke about the speed of actions, there's also very important thing: maybe you can do things fast, but if you're doing wrong things fast, then it is useless. Every second of life spent on achieving something shouldn't be wasted. Yeah its behind our control. And we can't remember where we spent every second of our lives. But we must try to remember important things. And we must try to cover our lives efficiency at the scale of seconds.

What does it takes to achieve goals

With any project I took, including the project of your moving into the United States, I understand the fact that 24 hours in our life isn't enough time to accomplish tasks. It took me to kill thousands of thoughts inside my head in order to achieve all of goals in Moscow. And it took all of our money to confirm our intentions. During that time in Moscow God literally had showed me not less than 100 times that if I wouldn't put that extra effort into solving another 0,01% of the puzzle which was given to me to be solved exactly the day it was supposed to be solved, then the whole deal would be gone. Without such strict deadlines & self-control, we wouldn't meet necessary requirements. We were very close to bankruptcy in our moving to U.S. You can't imagine how close we were to our bankruptcy, to the point where our plans would be ruined, and I don't know what would happened to my self-esteem and where I would be now if we wouldn't meet that. That was first time I were living on such tiny edge, and I believe its a good thing to practice every year in your life

To those of you who's saving money

Thank you, that makes me proud of you. And that takes some HUGE sacrifices & efficiency measures to be done now. Wow. That takes commitment. Think about this: in order to meet goals (take money goal for example), there's a necessity to keep them high enough - since if money standards aren't high enough, then there is no way you can handle with temptation to spend your money on essential needs. Moreover - you spend money not only for your own essential needs, but also you're using that money to help the other while you're trying to reach that goal. Collecting money is hard task, 10 times harder than many people would think. If you have $10,000 there's a temptation to purchase a brand new Nissan instead of sacrificing this money into charity. But first of all there is a temptation not to spend those $1,000 every month, when you worked so hard to deliver them into your pocket.

I don't know, but I have plan, how I could multiply my savings. I strongly believe into Bitcoin, and I believe that its price gonna be way higher next year, so if I'll save $5,000, next year this money gonna turn into $10,000. A little non-standard way of saving, but I believe if I'll pray for wisdom, then miracles can happen.

True Love

"I know I don't do this enough, but I was just thinking about my amazing wife and about all of the things she does for me. She works full time, is involved in three plays, and still manages to keep a clean house and welcome me home every night with a smile, hugs, and kisses. She really brightens my life and makes every day something to look forward to. So, unmarried men out there, be the kind of man the girl of your dreams wants to be with. She is worth every effort, and repays your love with more love and affection than you might think possible." Tanner Haderlie

My thought about purchasing a CAR

I think cars pretty much predefine with what our generation are advanced. I think such cars as Toyota Auris pretty much deserve owning them. I just can imagine how proud I am with my car, and there's actually bunch of stuff in cars which makes you feel good about knowing where your money went. If I would live in U.S., I would decided faster to purchase a car. The earlier age you pick to start driving, the better it is for your development, at least its one of stuff which society chosen to be the way to feel complete (even though there's a still plenty of reasons to feel that society aren't right and that rejection position is also true since you can't use strategy of gather richness on earth and heaven priorities are much higher than any earthly treasuries)

[2:07:16] Adeline yeah having a car would be nice!

Silk Road owner now may own almost 5% to 10% of the world's Money!

“We have seized everything we were entitled to seize under the civil forfeiture action,” said the spokesman, Peter Donald.

Yes he got 600,000 Bitcoins password of which won't be lost! Even in case if he goes into prison, he won't lose that money, in the opposite, his money will multiply throughout the years since Bitcoin is an unstoppable currency!

The criminal complaint against him filed in New York claims Ulbricht pulled in a grand total of600,000 Bitcoin, worth roughly $80 million by current exchange rates, over the course of two years, as commission on sales of drugs and other illegal goods and services on his black market website. U.S. prosecutors filed a corresponding civil forfeiture action against Ulbricht and Silk Road, authorizing the FBI to go in and seize any assets tied to the operation of the website. In the end, they took hold of about 27,000 units of Bitcoin, which an FBI spokesman said on Monday is all they were authorized to take.

I am personally wouldn't traded any of my wealth to any other currency or form of assets if I had any of them. That's why I don't understand speculations around the Bitcoin

I keep wondering why they need an additional domain to advertise themselves?
That's pretty awesome way to conquer web by taking all those expenses to sustain the information as an asset

Bitcoin message from ransom4all YouTube channel owner

You could say that I am also a fan, but without unnecessary delusions about cryptocurrencies very near future. But before the real future of Bitcoin its still a long way. But the direction is correct. Now , basically, it is a subject of speculation, obvious one. In early October, again began to massively " merge " Bitcoin , which is somewhat undermined its stability as a unit. People may be bored and they will continue to look towards fiat currencies. This is clearly involved and interested banks, though not so clearly and massively as it was after the start of my video - then there was an attempt to bury the Bitcoin, by undermining its credibility. I have video and still no do not, although a lot of interesting things happened during this time in the environment Bitcoin . Took a wait - he kept looking and there is no sense to shout something and claim professionals kriptorynka now while poking around , finish , put in order , and then you look and yavyat Bitcoin world in the new shell for an offline - as long as it's a very narrow range interested . Most significantly , the Germans officially recognized Bitcoin unit of account ( in the hope of winning the taxes for the operation of citizens) , and how many different conferences and presentations made monthly , in which the British do well . Popularization and practical application - the main stage in the Bitcoin the looming collapse of the financial system , " replanting " of all the polls in the New World Order and the subsequent chipping . Bitcoin is honest antidote against the ugly and press down all by itself by the system. He had to survive and give people a breath of air. I would be glad to communicate . After all, we have so little) )

Bitcoin is like realty ownership of which you can divide and share/transfer.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V-3haBibXWc
Whole system works only to make possible payments matrix exist. When you purchase a Bitcoin, you purchase part of that matrix (right now there's 11 million those matrix parts we call 11 million of bitcoins). Right now 1 Bitcoin is like owning $140 in cash, but when demand will be higher, you surely will appreciate each bitcoin way more because each bitcoin which you posses is a treasure which everyone will want to posses.

The Truth About Bitcoin

Why does anyone have to accept it at all ? Many small business won't and I accept payment that way either. Ask ever corner store if they will accept it as payment ? To most, it has no value to replace stock on shelves. It has obvious advantages. Disadvantages as well. As do all currencies. It may be the money of the future. If governments can't tax it, control the people farm, you can bet they will do everything possible to destroy it. I will not bet all of my future on it. Do you have that faith

There are plenty of people who accepts it. Especially people who do freelance work like web design. You can convert it into fiat very easily (easier through Bitpay) and restock the shelves. Governments can tax it, it's as taxable as cash in most cases. Nobody is asking you to bet anything on it.

bit coins are not durable. My computer dies, bitcoin dies
Bit coins are only portable on another device? i mean, i suppose you could carry it in an SD card, but you can't carry the bit coin in your hand. Can't touch it, so it really isn't portable
It isn't divisible
It has intrinsic value in the same sense that superman issue 1 has it. It doesn't really, it's value is only how much you can fool other people into thinking it is.
It isn't scarce. Right now it is, but numbers are infinite.

You have no idea what you're talking about.
No one cares if you can physically hold money. I pay for everything with a debit card. The fact that it's electronic makes it MORE portable, because I can access it anywhere.
Bitcoins are divisible into 100,000,000 Satoshis.
There is no such thing as intrinsic value. The only value of a thing is what you can get for it.
Bitcoins are scarce by design. There can never be more than 21 million of them.

But if the value of bitcoin tanks you have nothing ... nothing. If gold tanks you still have something ... it's a fine line between extrinsic value and intrinsic value, but one is based on "feelings" while the other is based on real items. The difference being is in the end, reality is worth more than a virtuality any day.
If the value of gold tanks, you have a shiny paper weight. GG.
There's no such thing as "intrinsic value", everything is worth what people will give you for it.

So
Everything only have the valve someone is prepared to pay for it.
Once the government have a substantial amount of them, they will no longer have any value.
Governments have computers too. What making you think there are no government computers mining bitcoins as well.
The large majority of bitcoins are in the hands of non-government entities. Governments can fire up miners all they want, but more than half of the 21 million bitcoins that can ever exist are already out there in the pockets of hundreds of thousands of ordinary people. If governments want to keep their coins, then so be it. It only makes the coins that are being traded around more valuable, not less (remember the rule of scarcity).

Is bit coin regulated like real money when it comes to the creation of it? like real money loses value when the government prints it, often called a stealth tax. how is bitcoin created and how does it keep it's value? is they a limit to it's creation?
Bitcoins are "mined" by users running a program that attempts to solve extremely complex decryption problems. Every time one of these is solved, a "block" is mined and the person who solved it gets a certain amount of bitcoins. As more blocks are mined, it becomes harder to mine new blocks.
So basically, bitcoins are constantly being created, but the rate slows based off how many have been created. Also, there is a cap of 21 million. Once 21 million bitcoins have been mined no more can be made.

I am purchasing my first car

I wish I could be a lot younger before I did it, but anyway its better than never.

I'm going to donate my Bitcoin wallet 10% from all of my earnings

I think that this is a pretty useful practice for everyone.
And I think that if everyone of us would do it, the Bitcoin would grow faster. Long-term savings in Bitcoin is the reason why Bitcoin could succeed as a currency, and I'm glad to do everything I can for it.  Jim Rohn once said that main thing is that you must have a plan. Bitcoin sounds like pretty awesome deal as a savings for me.

Computers are my life, and if my money will die without them, then that's probably my fate.

Here's my plan: I'm going to use my local exchange service for transferring my dollars into Bitcoins as 10% of my income money just for seeing the power this investment technique. I haven't been investing into anything for too long. Maybe its time to change it.

10% isn't such money which I will be greedy to give up as a savings to Bitcoin. I would even put way more money, but that would make me feel uncomfortable about the whole idea. 10%. That's how much I'm ready to give up. That's like my additional religion, to whom I must tithe.

I suppose everyone must do it. Because its easy. Because it will make some impact for Bitcoins. Because each payment will reflect the overall quantity of your earnings.

What I gonna do with those 10% of Bitcoins in future? Nothing. I won't touch it. I want to use them only when I will be able to purchase something substantial: car or house

I'll keep posting updates on EarlFox.com about how much money so far yearly I was able to save this way :).

Why I can't stop thinking about Bitcoin

Its October 7, 2013. I want to talk about Bitcoin again.
I won't explain how it works here, since perhaps very soon everyone will know pretty good picture about Bitcoin.

Today there's no such topic on the Internet which inspires me more than Bitcoin.

Why do I like Bitcoin and think that it deserves so much attention?

  1. Its protocols are open-source and transparent, everyone can track moneyflow happening in the world. I always hated counterfeiting, and thought that governments throughout the world one day will create electronic money and will prohibit printing the paper for giving value to the money.
  2. Okay, if governments would create their e-money, then in this case we still have a problem with trust: since we can't be sure that government aren't unequally adding more money on the accounts of its privileged citizens. That's why I think the Bitcoin is goes to win this battle, because the Bitcoin's amount won't depend from its currency regulators.
  3. First two points about Bitcoin I believe sets the new precedent about Bitcoin's perspectives, and I believe that Bitcoin pretty much has huge chances to become a default currency everywhere. Right now not everybody understands it, but I think that its the case where I can trust IT experts and mathematical models.
    1. So, right now the price of bitcoin is $136 according to http://bitcoin.clarkmoody.com and the Bitcoin economy has around 11 million bitcoins in circulation. If you'll multiply them on their costs in usd (11 million multiplied on $136) you will get the amount around $1,5 billion which represents the current value of bitcoin economy. I think that $1,5 billion dollars is pretty low amount for such perspective currency, and this number will definitely grow AT LEAST 50 times larger than you see it right now.
I love Bitcoin, because it fights with everything I hate about regular money, and I mention here only few reasons:

  • Unfair transfer fees for fiat money transfer methods. Regular money haven't created to be teleported. Bitcoins are.
  • Its relatively easy to counterfeit with paper money. That gives too much power to Mafia, who's handling that business. Governments withdraw hunderds millions of dollars in counterfeit money from economy every year, and there's yet too much dollars and other paper pieces which isn't even really valid.
  • Its easier than anything to print more money when you need it if you have an authority to do that. That's what I call cheating. As a citizen I don't feel that I deserve that. I suppose there's no such fiat currency on the earth that haven't printed any extra money. Nobody really knows yet, how much % of inflation exactly that amounts of "official counterfeiters" eats money from your budget.
  • Credits. Loans are stealing people's lives. And Federal Reserve again printing even more money than before.

iPhone 5S revolutionized the mobile market again by introducing 64bit chips

Yes, I'm that Apple fan, that I'm even dedicating the whole 1 sentence article for such event

Money is what money does: Treats which Bitcoin community ignores and scientifically can face

  • The protocol change. When people are in crisis, they do foolish stuff too. Here are rules which controlled by Bitcoin client aka public awareness:
    • Money emission: the fact that we can have only 21 million Bitcoins. The quantity of Bitcoins could be a subject for change during the years: since media rules the world - some powerful organizations will try to persuade masses to change the quantity of bitcoins from amount of 21 million of coins to the amount of for example 210 millions of bitcoins. Or they could even set unlimited amount of bitcoins for future bitcoin clients (they will just delete those restriction which was set by Satoshi Nakamoto)
    • Rewards for mining. The same public awareness is a pretty achilese feet: it brings weakness for the Bitcoin: when the Bitcoins community will face such problems as lack of network computing power, then bringing back the rewards for mining will raise again! People by all means will try to return the rewards for mining: even though now (October 6, 2013) the bitcoin reward is 25 BTC, and later it will be closer to 0, the community will make an attempt to persuade masses to return to the old 50 BTC or even set a new reward for mining blocks: 100 BTC.
All of those changes to protocol could bring endless amount of harm to the Bitcoin system, and that's why as conscious people we must be sure that masses won't make such dumb decissions. With the Bitcoin protocol I would recommend everyone to stay conservative, but another problem arises:
  • Recently FBI arrested the SilkRoad owner who had $3,6 in Bitcoins, probably that's a miserable amount of bitcoins in comparison with how much bitcoins are out there in circulation, but anyway, there is possibility that huge corporations such as Microsoft, Apple, Govt or whoever else could make an attempt to purchase all of the Bitcoins (right now 11 millions of Bitcoins are in circulation, and that means that it will take only $1,5 billion to purchase all amounts of bitcoins).
That's pretty scary thing, since that will bring some unpleasant segmentation for the bitcoin market. Let's imagine that Microsoft has purchased all of the bitcoins by investing $1,5 billion. And let's imagine that after that Microsoft stopped using that Bitcoins to pay anyone during the next 20 years. Is it possible that a huge corporation will purchase a bitcoins? Yes.

What it will cause if suddenly 90% of bitcoins will be owned by 1 corporation? The bitcoins will raise in price, and people will try to use the left amount of bitcoins (which sooner or later will become 50% since we haven't mined the remaining 10 million of bitcoins yet).

As a Bitcoin investor its the most disadvantageous situation for me when people who own a lots of money now purchases a Bitcoin, because that will again give the initial power to the corporations (if even a 50% of bitcoins are owned by corporations, it is still gonna mean that corporations are in charge of this world)

Right now bitcoin has only 1% of power over the world's finances & economy. But that thing is a subject to change. When Bitcoin will take over the world's economy, it will have around 60 to 90% of influence over what happening in the finance world. In this case when corporations own significant parts of that virtual currency they have a greater freedom for purchasing other financial assets, such as lands, real estate, HR - this two things will never get old.

Okay, we've decided here that corporations won't lose their power due to bitcoins anyway. But how about governments?

Before the Bitcoins, the governments were pretty big at regulating the corporations by regulating their finances. In case if the world will face the Bitcoin revolution where Bitcoin takes over the whole economy, then government will lose its power over regulating the corporations, and corporations won't lose their power, since they will be the ones who's getting the most profit for acquiring and earning the bitcoins, but in this case now they're won't even share this outcome with governments.

With Bitcoins the world will never be the same. We will become a witnesses of pure burn of world where government has no power over the finance world, where Federal Reserve aren't controlling that stuff too, but where giant corporations like an Apple and Microsoft will rule the whole world order.

I suppose that's pretty likely to happen, since they're the leaders in sales.
Doesn't matter how much dollars every bitcoin costs and what value it will have after Bitcoin revolution, the core of revolution could be easily described by just one word: SALES

AnonimityLoses and AnonimityWins: FBI arrests largest Bitcoin project: SilkRoad shutdown

The site owner used an email with his personal real name as the handle then went looking for programmers online for Silk Road... kinda dumb.
Neither TOR or Bitcoin (the encryption stuff) was broken.

File sharing? We're talking about a mail order service. There's not just data traffic to follow. And napster wasn't the only service hit. Most any service built and running on U.S. soil has been targeted at a certain level of popularity. So I guess if you compare to file sharing, they'll have to buy a privately owned country and develop their own distribution company that somehow bypasses all government resources?
The owner was being careless and used his personal email address for something related to the website.

The bitcoins were held in your in your silk road account. The owner was not famous, he got caught by trying to hire a hitman, that was something totally separate.
This has become too big of a concept with too many people (900,000+ members) and too much money involved (over $1.2 billion market) for them to ever stop it now. It's like when they first shut down napster, it didn't stop people from stealing music. Even if they shut down more sites people are already talking about building a sort of p2p type system where the data is decentralized.
The FBI is not the hacker department; you'd be surprised what you can extract from people with bribes and immunity from prosecution. Just need to know who you're after.
This BMR actually sounds dangerous.
I don't think a lot of fools were on SR as it took a good amount of effort to even get on the site in the first place. But this Black Market Reloaded shit sounds extremely dangerous. Funny how they shut down SR but not something like BMR.
this is the problem of using the young turks as a "news source". This was a very poorly researched 3 min video for the sole purpose of gaining views for a recent event. It wasn't the encryption that brought SilkRoad down, it was the owners own negligence and ignorance that caused the Feds to find who he was. If you read the criminal indictment then you will know for yourself.
I just think it's hilarious how they established a Craigslist for dope and other illicit commodities. It almost sounds easier and less risky to do it the old fashion way as I described.

The good news are that you are reading this lines!

nearly good thing YouTube did to ads

It now asks, whether this ads I see every time I turn on new vid are appropriate for me and the YouTube player now proposes to me to answer whether Yes or No, where I could choose "No".

Here's my appeal to YouTube: why won't you just offer me the whole set of parameters where I could tell you about my tastes?

I love seeing ads! And you, YouTube are forcing me to see them? How am I supposed to react to this? Okay I'm fine with the fact that I have obligations before YouTube to see their ads if I'm using their service, but wait a second, does a YouTube has lack of advertisers? Or does it will ruin the advertiser's campaigns if the ads will be shown only according to tastes or preferences of the audience?

For example if you'll talk about my tastes - I prefer receiving ads only in English in spite of the geolocation, that's why I'm watching YouTube, because I want to receive a content only in English, and very often the ads are displayed in Russian, again, how am I supposed to react to this? Yes my IP shows that I'm accessing thoze web-site from the location nothing rather Russian Federation, but when the web-site and web-service owners will finally understand, that I don't need their geolocation services when it comes for choosing a language, huh? I must have freedom for default langauge.

And those freedom must be secured for me. The world should finally understand this by now.

Cemi?!

I'm usually trying to keep up with my relatives, forgotten friends, maybe that could be the way to represent what's going on in my head. That's why I've created this section called a "letter". That's the type of letter which could be sent to my sister, a friend or for everyone else. My thoughts are weird and quantity of topics could be not be always interesting for everyone. But when I write pages in this section, I definitely remember someone to whom I wanted to address these small things. Mostly I address these letters to closest circles.
  • Today I woke up and thought for a moment: life is beautiful. Because rent prices in Moscow only for rooms now is 15000 RUR!
  • Today in the morning when I considered the beauty of domains and brands, I've found that such short domains which looks like real non-profit, government or other official organization e.g. cern, cemi.org are looking beautifully and looking awesome and appropriate. I'll definitely use them for few of my projects.
