What kind of video about Bitcoin I would enjoy to see

Okay, maybe writing this on Reddit isn't the greatest idea, but I'm usually repeating myself constantly and this is not the only place where I shared my idea.

I already proposed this idea to Khan. Now I want to propose for anyone who may be more closer to video editing than I am.

The whole video will show some explanation which original videos and existing videos on YouTube miss.

1) First of all I would start with explaining Bitcoin basics, then my main idea is comparing Bitcoins to some geometrical surface. There's some comparison which I always use for Bitcoin - if you would purchase 100 bitcoins it would almost equal to purchasing some significant amount of New York lands 300 years ago.

2) Also its pretty easy to compare Bitcoin to real estate - it is like dividing huge properties to use each valueable parts and provide it to belong to one owner. You can purchase any amount of it.

3) Some people have difficulty understanding where's the value comes from - but at the same time they have no problem with understanding where does the value comes from for any little Manhattan apartment which has 10 times more cost than any other same sized apartment downtown. The same thing about Bitcoin - Bitcoin is one space where we rent some limited amount of space which is once taken can't be taken by anyone else. And since Bitcoin is 1 space, then more people will want to live in that virtual space, less space available, more money needed to buy existing spaces.

Now imagine that this concepts could be beautifully displayed in a video, right? You can do it. Do ett blizz. You can do ett.

1) In the same video then you could explain such things as that lottery - also geometrically shown how does it work. People love to see physical things, some mechanisms and how they work are best of all depicted in geometrical forms - that's hwy I'm so eager to see this kind of video, which will explain everything. That kind of video I needed myself when I spent nights to understand what Bitcoin finally is.

2) Also it would be awesome to depict how the personal wallet file key works - so that people would never confused account systems versus cryptography based protection. This moment could be depicted in a detailed view - I would show how Bitcoin uses encoded address to scan the whole blockchain from the beginning of times for seeing which inputs belongs to the wallet which is searched. This process just must be depicted somewhere in such way that kids would understand the fact that if you don't holding that secret key (encrypted wallet.dat with your password), then you can't touch those blockchain inputs which once belonged to you.

3) And finally in such kind of video I don't want to confuse audience with such technical term as "mining" - in that kind of video I would just describe that miners will get only % per overall Bitcoin revenue, by outlining the fact that miner's income isn't unlimited, in fact, its strictly limited by the system, and system design is so awesome that it lets miners to be rewarded in an internal currency - in Bitcoins.

I just really wanted to see such simple video which gives people idea how the Bitcoin market works.

0 confusion. Understandable for everybody, once and forever.

My letter to Khan Academy:
C'mon, Khan you know that we're all expecting you to make more Bitcoin videos of the other level. How about making some explanatory video in a kids style like (by showing visually limited amount of the Bitcoin money) "Here's the digital blocks that we need to protect with the keys, imagine that this geometrical room is all of the world Bitcoins - now look - if somebody claims to have 1 million of BTC, that takes too much space" - or you can use examples as an earth, to explain that purchasing 100 BTC is like purchasing New York city for cheap 300 years ago.

You know, something like that. We're like a kids - we don't need complicated stuff. At least sometimes make something simple.
Yeah, and I don't know anybody else who can explain Bitcoin geometrically better than you - like linking all the blockchain records together to show movement of money. That kind of video is needed for all those people who's having difficulties of understanding Bitcoin (that's the reason why they don't use it)

Bitcoin is a currency for e-commerce. If you want Bitcoin to take over e-commerce, here's rules to follow

First of all - taking over e-commerce with Bitcoin is pretty important, because - all of the infrastructure is almost 90% ready for Bitcoin to be implemented on any web-site to start accepting.

Here's few products which I believe truly represent e-commerce:
1. Everything virtual: such products as servers, web-hosting, or any kind of hosting
2. Everything Internet trusted shop which uses prepaid orders, including Amazon, eBay and many other Internet shops.
3. And other products for which you have trust anyway.

Concerning the trust for Internet shops (since they are too many), here's few ways:
* Certification/Reputation centers for Bitcoin Web-Sites (I'm against waiting another 10 years to build decentralized reputation systems, even though I support the idea of course). E.g. if web-site cheats, it can lose its license. There could be purse based licenses - to help customer trust - e.g. if there is a button which says that particular Bitcoin wallet is responsible for funds which it receives, then the whole problem with trust disappears.
* Central platforms where people can buy and sell any virtual goods for Bitcoins

And of course basic steps:
* I believe its very important to encourage communities to reach global business with Bitcoin (friends, family and in any place where people talk about their Internet business plans).
For example - if you have friend, who wants to start selling web-hosting, or dedicated servers, offer him to build his web-site from ground oriented for Bitcoin customer.

* In Russia we have WebMoney.ru - which operates more than 10 years on the Internet and which uses the same virtual currency concepts as Bitcoin (I'm talking about the fact that all WebMoney funds is non-refundable even though its wallets are centralized). And in Russia we have pretty popular virtual goods portal called DigiSeller.ru - it is the place where virtual goods manufacturer sells such things like Game Coupons, Pre-filled coupons for filling cell-phone account, Text Information (yes you can sell your text information for Bitcoin - since WebMoney also allows you to pay with Bitcoin on DigiSeller). Its the whole virtual Galaxy, which was unknown for west this whole time - and this whole e-commerce economy works based on non-refundability economical principles. (E.g. if you're dissatisfied with product, DigiSeller has its own reputation system and they hold money for 3 days to wait for moneyback request from customer in case if the seller is fraudulent). I'm still have no clue why we don't have a ready to use platform-Bitcoin-processor where I could trade my virtual goods for Bitcoin? Maybe I should create it? Or maybe I should post this idea everywhere in Russian IT forums so that Russians could do global English version of such platform totally made of Bitcoins.

And last very important thought is making all the web-services (e-commerce) mono-currency oriented. I mean accepting only Bitcoin and nothing except for Bitcoin.

All good market players are good at selling their goods over the Credit Cards, but damn, how I tired from so many payment options on their web-site - how tired I am from jumping from page to page - from billing page to customer information editing - this is some sort of beaureaucracy! (In fact you have to do it each time you purchase something on Amazon, it gets especially harder if you're new user to Amazon or some other shop which requires all that fancy information like Billing Addresses)

Why I can't just pay with a single button from any web-site with a Bitcoin without being bothered about filling my address, and many many other initial information. Why can't I just pay and then fill all of those forms later and only if I want them to fill? Will someone hear me? We live in 21st century and I still haven't got such conveniences ;) (I don't count any sign ups/prefilled forms or whatever quick options they want to offer on eBay/Amazon/and stuff like that - I just that big button which instantly makes me purchase something - and I want to change my mind in case if I have to) What a cruel world.

My whole long topic was about e-commerce. There's just too much things that's interenet is missing right now concerning the payments and the web-sites where I can order stuff / virtual goods. So I hope that thanks to Bitcoin such things gonna be possible. And I've described only 1% of how we can change e-commerce with Bitcoin.

My dream - is having Bitcoin-only-accepting alternative for every web-site we're using right now. I demand it. Am I alone who wants such services?
Everything you got used to pay for on the web, is not that hard to build. Maybe in the physical world you're facing problems replacing physical money with Bitcoins (even though we're trying to solve this problem too), but in the Internet e-commerce world at least, Bitcoin must be a king, right?

If you have any ideas which I missed here, you're welcome to comment about them, I read all the comments.

Post-nuclear world with Bitcoin

As long as people exist even in nuclear war, there will be at least 1 or 2 computers alive (not talking about existing underground data-centers backed by solar or maybe atomic energy). Of course nobody can predict what's technology will remain and how many of us will have access to that technology.

On the other hand I would believe in a bright future - where at least some piece of earth with as much people as possible could survive after WW3. That could be hundreds of thousands people and that could be still a 1 billion of them. And I'm pretty sure that if that much people survived, then at least there will be more survived computers than people (since computers are made from metal and therefore resistant to radiation).

But even if it will happen that we will find only 1 copy of full blockchain (which could be sized from 1 to 100 terrabytes at that point), then Bitcoin is survived the nuclear war. And you can store those 1 copy of full blockchain even in space - if you don't trust hard drives (since they are get spoiled sometimes), you can store it on few BluRay or DVD disks.

Andrea Antonopoulous once said - that Bitcoin is like virus, because you have to destroy every single computer to destroy it completely. Decentralization is an inevitable turn in the technological history - cars for movement, computers for a data, blockchain is for money.

I actually repaired a computer (it couldn't be replaced) at a sawmill that was struck by lightning. Parts of the board were burnt, but about 80% of the chips survived. Boards that aren't connected to anything will probably survive the worst possible EMP pulse. And you can remove bad chips from one board and replace with good chips from a different one.
Also the blockchain is mainly stored on hard drives. These are immune to most EMP pulses due to the large amount of metal surrounding the platter. The drives are surrounded by a metal computer case. Many of these computers are in metal buildings. I just can't imagine an EMP pulse harming them. Only one copy of the blockchain has to survive to restart Bitcoin.

Freelancing as part of Bitcoin infrastructure

Most of us were here in the early days of Internet, when everybody was excited about new opportunities like email, web, Internet shopping, then later social networks appeared and of course there always was such an independent phenomenon as freelancing too.
The freelancing itself is outstanding concept. To understand how important freelancing is, just think about regular jobs. The regular jobs are here and still responsible for 99% of employment just because we haven't managed yet how to perform some of jobs remotely. Okay that's maybe from IT prospective, but that's just gives you idea about how outstanding your life could be if every of your employer was a freelance friendly.
Yes sure, management and stuff is what stopping us to convert every regular job into remote, but if you can do some basic math, you should understand that 50% of our regular jobs is convertible into remote jobs.
Freelancing is very important for the world right now the same way as it was before Bitcoin creation.
But now with Bitcoin you can see the way how freelancing could become really global. If you're just regular freelancer you may not know how huge freelance market is right now, just because you don't know the statistics yet and nobody counts how much people involved in such online activities as earning money from convenience of your home. Think about freelance web-sites which you haven't found yet or which you won't visit in your life ever, but such web-sites exists, and moreover - I will show some examples (which could be exception of course, since I can't guarantee that you haven't visited it yet):
 • http://www.onehourtranslation.com - the website that specializes on quick translations from almost every possible language. The web-site exist for over than 5 years (as far as I know it, maybe even longer), and offers turnkey efficient service for quick translations for any types of translation. If you have any urgent translations to be done - that's the place to go, just click on the link, submit your text, choose language to be translated in, then web-site will automatically assign you translator which specializes on the subject you've submitted your text. I'm mentioning this web-site since I am myself performed many translations in this service as a part-time job when I was a student. Part of the problem of receiving my hard earned money on this service was the methods which they use to deposit their workers - 5 years ago Bitcoin haven't existed, so I had to receive funds using PayPal intermediaries, which was a very hard and time consuming task which took almost 70% of my energy from overall orders complexity.
 • http://workzilla.ru - that is another quick service but you won't see English version of this web-site, because it is Russian one - I liked this service because it offers quick workers for micro-projects, where you need some search to be done on the Internet, or some other quick hand-made job which could be done by unqualified workers over the Internet. It comes really handy when you have some routine things to get done.
Ok, stop. For most of you mentioning only this 2 services will be enough to make you clue on how much web-sites there is on the Earth about freelancing - and each web-site is a community from thousands and thousands permanent customers and thousands and hundred thousands of workers who perform those jobs.
If you will try to count how much freelance websites there exist only in United States, you probably won't believe the real numbers, I don't know them, but I can guess that it easily could be thousands of major web-sites with millions of freelance workers just from U.S.

Freelancing isn't that fair. The whole idea that you can find job without escaping your living space is great, but there's no guarantee that there is enough jobs on the Internet for everyone. And demand in such jobs is growing every year, and new growing freelancers who just find themselves in a situation when they need a remote job is growing each year, while online systems aren't yet developed to offer one global solution.

To let you see the whole picture, let me mention another example: the craigslist.org and here in Russia we have such a giant as an avito.ru - these are both great examples which shows how making standardized place for people to meet each other globally is a huge thing. Before craigslist.org and avito.ru - in both countries there was huge amount of small classified web-sites - the same thing is happening right now with freelance. (Of course there is an exemptions such as freelancer.com - which probably would be industry leader soon just because of its size)

Why freelance platforms haven't grown yet to the same level craigslist.org and avito did? I believe there is a few borders and reasons - 1st off - nobody tried to do it correctly yet: those huge markets are very important, and still nobody tried to offer such a platform which will help to find you freelancers from the whole world to make your logo for your web-site, even though such an idea makes sense.
Not every freelancer knows English - and that is 2nd factor in my top reasons for why freelance market globalization still haven't happened yet: many freelancers would win if they could participate in projects opened by international members - just imagine that suddenly everybody get an access to worldwide employment market. That is a breakthrough!
And 3rd factor is the fact that payment system haven't been introduced yet which efficiently would let all of those people to send this money to each other, and also there is a demand for such a reliable escrow system which will allow everybody to trust each other in terms of delivered money and services performed over the net. That's where Bitcoin comes to scene.

I am myself would sacrifice significant amount of my personal time to create such a wonderful global project which could help create the most popular united worldwide freelance board which will let everybody to find freelancers and jobs in the one place, globally without necessity to search another freelance web-site to perform jobs remotely and internationally.

What I've told you about marriage 22.11.12

Give yourself way more time before marriage: there's no way for you except for accepting responsibility for your own prosperity. Don't feel bad about it. If you do, its devil, be ready to die for it.

Marriage is wasteful in terms of resources at the time you're strife for success. Marriage is about sacrificing all you got to your family. If you've got nothing, then you're HURTING your OWN family with no class by not providing them anything and willing only to get value from them

Your super efforts is a resource

Think of yourself as of crazy doctor whoM everyone pretending to be healthy while its not so. Every people looking for mentally healthy people and when they find out that someone's not healthy, they stop socializing with mentally ill person. THAT'S WHY THE ONLY CHANCE YOU GOT IS TAKING OVER THE WORLD AND NEVER STOP THINKING ABOUT ITHIS WAY.

Maximum usage of daily hours

Am I right that I need it? Right where I am right now tells me that I don't need it: there is such a lazy voice inside of me, who's always telling me: stop it! you must go to sleep when you want and you must start working at where you want and when you want. Again that things: the place which I want, the time which I want. All of those things are my wishes.

But if I go back to all of my problems: the problems with previous employers are caused by their inability to go intact with my day/night schedule. Poor employers, friends, business partners was faced my inability to control how much I work - quality of work, and negotiating my working hours. They couldn't do it, just because I didn't wanted to force myself working like that.

But on the other hand: did they offered me anything great? Yes the whole opportunity to become independent is great, the whole opportunity to earn together - that word together was always probably my problem of understanding, of economic model.

Back to my current schedule: its really time to make some adjustments. Here what I wanna say - since I'm independent now: I need to use the full extent of these days from 22.04.2014 to 27.04.2014. This means I should bring results during that dates.

Yolo, the relatives

You know that weird circumstances when you have to move out back to your parents or relatives. Its the weird feeling that you are returned to your cave, your apartment. Do you have a good relations with your parents/relatives/other dear or close people you lived with for a very long time in past. Are they glad that you've returned? For most of us, not. They may smile, may seem very happy, but deep inside you're remembering a lots of embarrassing moments from the past. Maybe you want to forget most of those moments. And while you are staying in those house, you're keep remembering those good and not very good moments, finally doesn't matter what kind of moments, since it is the past already - and when you having a good time talking to your relatives again, in a talk, in a look and in any other gestures they are keep showing you how not logical it is living with you, future with all that happened in past. That is keeps following you for a long time.

And you know those weird moment, that when you came to your old house, your relatives are got older. For some of you they're got older to the extent where morality edge is touching the border where it is unethical to even speak to that old person. You are just becoming such a burden, you are enormously unwelcome, you are kind of thing of despair, you are the child who haven't grown up yet, who needs an advises about how to grow up. And sure you're always stand out to be unthankful, or someone who doesn't put enough efforts to thank them for being such a wonderful creatures, who is so kind to provide you temporary place to stay.

And of course don't forget about rules: don't touch that, don't do that, don't speak that loud, or don't speak that quiet - don't behave like this, don't do this, don't go to this room, do this exactly how I do, do that or do this, you're doing this incorrectly, you must learn how to do this if you're wishing our support, pay this, pay that - because you're already grown up! You're not our family member anymore, we all know that inside - you are just someone who have had divided from the family initially, that's why we are so unwelcoming you, that's why we're showing you how much your disruption. You're not thankful at all! We're put so much efforts to make you independent, and now you dare to come back! How dare you are! How you dare?

Well that's embarrassing...

Okay maybe I'm exaggerating most of the moments. Maybe I'm underestimating some of things you face. One thing is for sure - hippocricy, imperfectivity, unefficience is eweryhwere....

Hipnomatizing you....
